Functions of the SMF(P) System

SMF(P) system is a “Shredding + Mixing + Feeding (Pumping)” system, in which, solid waste is first Shredded by a rotary shear and then blended with waste liquid or viscous materials in a horizontal Mixer for homogenization of mass quality and calorific value, and for increased flowability for enclosed transportation to a rotary kiln by a Feeding system composed of a solid pump or a screw conveyor, and usually accompanied with an injection lance. The system is especially suitable for pre-treatment of various industrial/hazardous wastes before incineration with the following advantages:

Electrical Equipment and Control Scheme 

The whole SMF(P) system is controlled by a SIEMENS S7 series PLC and operated on a touch screen located in the control room of the system loading equipment. Each of the above main components can also be operated on its local panel.
