How to monitor 3 phase power?

Power Monitoring & Energy Monitoring | Single & 3-Phase

Power monitoring provides you with precise data on power usage throughout your plant. A power monitoring program uses tools like sensors and meters to measure exactly how much power each of your key assets is using. You can also monitor your power distribution units and your power supply.

View Details

Depending on the type of equipment you are monitoring, you may need different kinds of sensors. You will also need to decide which assets require power monitoring. It is also possible to measure power usage by rack, room, or entire facility.

Your power monitors and meters can send data to an analytics program so that you can understand at a glance how power is being used at the level of the facility, power strip, and device. This gives you insights into your peak power usage times. By tracking power usage over time, you’ll also be able to see when usage deviates from normal baselines, and you can schedule maintenance to address these issues before they become bigger problems.

really bad

I recently purchased the Fluke 3540 FC Power Monitor with high hopes for its performance and capabilities. However, my experience with this product has been nothing short of disappointing. Despite my efforts to generate reports using downloaded sessions, I encountered numerous issues. The software provided did not allow for proper analysis, and attempts to connect via USB proved futile, resulting in wasted time and effort. This power monitor has left me with a very negative impression. As a customer, I expected a more seamless and user-friendly experience, especially from a reputable brand like Fluke. I urge potential buyers to approach this product with caution and to thoroughly research alternative options before making a purchase. Fluke should address these issues promptly to maintain trust and satisfaction among its customer base. Overall, my experience with the Fluke 3540 FC Power Monitor has been deeply unsatisfactory, and I cannot recommend it based on my usage

Don't waste your $$

Unless you use this daily and can account for the subscription cost through revenue from clients then don't waste your money. Totally useless without a subscription.

Tool is completely useless

What is holding this back is the app. You need to use the app even to set up the local logging. You need a subscription to even use the meter in local mode. The mobile device needs to be connected to the internet and to the device at the same time.

Very Disappointed

This is a very expensive tool that requires a subscription for use. There is no way to pull the data off of the tool unless you buy the subscription. This is now a very expensive paperweight. Remember you will never own this instrument. This is a rental with a 3700.00 down payment with a 1200.00 a year lease.
